Collectible is a term that is often sold with some future increase in value implied.  The opposite is sometimes true as they are easy to buy but hard to sell.  A definition of a collectible is something considered to be worth collecting but not necessarily valuable or antique, designed and manufactured for people to collect, usually less than 100 years old and is mass produced.  Collecting is perhaps a human condition that cannot be helped.  Collectibles include: Hummel porcelains, Royal Doulton, glass, beer steins, pink pigs, shaving mugs, nodders, candy containers…………
